Summer
It is summer in the territory of the Coastal Shores Pack. Usually in this season, prey is plentiful, the territory is granted several days of rare sunshine and heat, and the wolves are managing well. However, it can also bring the threat of rejuvenated predators such as bears.
Weather
RAIN STORMHeavy drops of water are pouring all over the Coastal Shores territory. Black clouds and blinding rain keep most wolves in the den, waiting for it to stop.

Re: Interesting Facts
- The Pistol Shrimp creates a sonic bubble that momentarily reaches the temperature of the surface of the sun in order to stun it's prey.
- Wolves stick their tongues out when they're angry.
- Lundehunds have six toes. They can also touch their forehead to their spines, and stretch their forelegs to their sides like a human.
- There is a crocodile named Gustave who has killed more than 300 people, but hardly ever eats them. He is identified by his massive size, and a bullet hole in his face. And he's still around today, but eludes every single bounty hunter who has tried to kill him.

Cool! The way to distinguish between a bug and a beetle is that bugs have to be able to 'Suck up' other bugs and beetles.

(neither can snow leopards)
- When a peregrine falcon plummets to the ground in a hyper-speed dive, they surpass the speed of gravity. Their hearts also stop beating for several seconds.
- African Wild Dogs are among the most successful predators in the world, succeeding in 9 out of 10 attempted hunts. (This is waaay beyond the success rate of the gray wolf, lion or tiger)
- Karelian Bear Dogs (a rare breed of Finnish hunting dog) will sometimes skin their prey alive while waiting for their master, and they're not messy about it either.

-dogs tend to not show pain, as it is considered weakness in the wild.
-Pitbulls are not mean fighting dogs. they have actually ranked higher on tests then Golden Retrievers. They are great family dogs, they just don't do well with other dogs, but love their people.

Re: Interesting Facts
- When pursued by predators, kangaroos will retreat to water so they can drown their enemies. O_O
- Scientists spliced the genes of a Tasmanian tiger into a mouse. Literally just to see what would happen. (honestly, haven't they seen Spider-man? XD)
- Contrary to popular belief, dire wolves were actually smaller than modern day wolves. And there are no records to prove they ever hunted mammoths. In fact, the evidence suggests they were near the bottom of the food chain.
- An entire race of early humans were totally wiped out during the Ice Age because they didn't have dogs to help them hunt.
- Sloths used to be bigger than elephants.
- The plot in 'Balto 2: Wolf's Quest' where a pack of wolves is forced to cross the ocean via ice floes, is based on an actual event. (Unfortunately, none of the wolves from the real-life event survived)
- Shortly after WWII, a small village in Russia was held siege by a pack of wolves for over two months in winter. The wolves surrounded the village (population of about 30) and would attack and eat anyone who was found outside their homes (in one case, the wolves broke into a home and slaughtered the family living there). Only one of the wolves was successfully killed by the villagers, none of whom survived (cold and starvation was also what killed them, but it is estimated about 20 of the villagers had been killed by the wolves). The village was utterly isolated, therefore preventing them from receiving any help. According to scientists, the wolves had been driven to starvation due to their territory being destroyed in the war, leading them to attack the villagers.
